HOW WE LIVE IT
We believe in order to achieve excellence in hair design we must always strive to improve our craft by seeking out education, tools, and new skills which only add to our ability to meet the ever changing needs of our clients. At Emerge, we encourage a work environment where we exchange ideas, share feedback and nurture creativity- much like an artist community would. Excellence in hair also encompasses how we treat every individual who walks in our door. We seek to listen to, care for, and honor each client, treating them like the friends they will become. All of this combines to create a salon where our clients feel cared for and leave looking and feeling beautiful every time.

At Emerge, we believe beauty is more than great hair design. We believe that to truly achieve beauty we must incorporate the health of the person and the health of the greater community we live in. At Emerge, we choose products that reflect these beliefs. We support companies that use only the most natural and/or organic ingredients, are environmentally sensitive, and are ethically produced.

For us, to encourage beauty for the larger community means we have built our salon in as sustainable a way as possible- cork flooring, reused cabinetry, etc. We utilize the recycle and reuse standard whenever possible. We use non-toxic cleaning supplies and choose not to contribute to waste by refraining from excess printing of brochures or mailings- and we choose not to provide bags. To be socially conscience, we try to use our talents, time, and networks to contribute to needs around us. We choose to operate in a different way. We believe this sets us apart from the average and makes for a new and refreshing experience in the salon service world.
